Andrew Auerbach, MD

Andrew Auerbach MD MPH is Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, in the Division of Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Auerbach is a widely recognized leader in Hospital Medicine, having authored or co-authored the seminal research describing effects of hospital medicine systems on patient outcomes, costs, and care quality. He leads a 13-hospital research collaborative focused on new discoveries in healthcare delivery models in acute care settings, and continues an active research mentoring program at UCSF.

Beth Berrean

Beth works with faculty and leadership to help shape their ideas into digital products and services. She helps internal innovators identify executable product roadmaps and particularly enjoys leveraging participatory design methods and working with diverse populations. Beth has a background in human-centered design with two decades of experience working across various technologies. She was in the pioneering cohort of CCA’s Design Strategy MBA program and has a master's in library science she uses just for fun.

Raman Khanna, MD, MAS

Dr. Raman Khanna is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF and Medical Director of Inpatient Informatics at UCSF Health. He received his BA and MD, and subsequently completed his residency, at Northwestern University, following which he completed a research fellowship and Masters in Clinical Research at UCSF.

Aaron Neinstein, MD

Dr. Aaron Neinstein is Vice President of Digital Health for UCSF Health and Associate Professor in the UCSF Division of Endocrinology. He has led the development and implementation of a wide range of health technology, with a focus on digital transformation and improving patient access and empowerment through virtual care models.

Benjamin Rosner, MD, PhD

Dr. Rosner is a digital health expert, researcher, entrepreneur, and practicing hospital-based physician. He publishes and speaks extensively on the use of digital health technologies in improving the four pillars of the quadruple aim. Prior to CLIIR, Dr. Rosner was the founding Chief Medical Information Officer of HealthLoop, a prominent digital patient engagement company. He has worked closely with top leadership at CMS, and was the lead author of an Improvement Activity in the Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) of CMS’ Quality Payment Program.
